Uricase variants and methods of use thereof

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to uricase variant polypeptides and their multimers, as well as uricase conjugates comprising (i) a first domain comprising one of the uricase variant polypeptides conjugated to (ii) a second domain comprising a random coil polypeptide domain. Methods of using the uricase variant polypeptides and uricase conjugates to treat gout, tumor lysis syndrome, and other diseases associated with elevated uric acid levels in body fluids, including blood, are provided. Methods of recombinantly producing the uricase variant polypeptides and uricase conjugates disclosed herein are also provided.
