Abstract

One embodiment of the present invention is an aluminum alloy plate for a can lid, wherein the silicon content is 0.17% by mass or more and 0.40% by mass or less, the iron content is 0.30% by mass or more and 0.60% by mass or less, the copper content is 0.10% by mass or more and 0.30% by mass or less, the manganese content is 0.55% by mass or more and 1.0% by mass or less, the magnesium content is 2.8% by mass or more and 4.4% by mass or less, the balance being composed of aluminum and unavoidable impurities, or the balance containing aluminum and unavoidable impurities, the temperature difference ΔT1 obtained by subtracting the solution temperature of Mg2Si from the solution temperature of aluminum is -1°C or more, the total content of iron and manganese is 1.30% by mass or less, and S, expressed by the following formula (1), is 380 MPa or more.
