Linear guide rail unit

Abstract

The linear guide unit includes: a guide rail having a first track surface extending toward a first direction that is a longitudinal direction; a slider mounted on the guide rail in a manner that allows relative movement in the first direction and having a second track surface opposite to the first track surface; and rollers serving as a plurality of rotating bodies that roll on a track formed by the first track surface and the second track surface. The slider includes: a housing having a first guide surface that contacts a first end face located at one end of the roller and guides the roller, and a second track surface; a circulation module having a first circulation path parallel to the track path and a second circulation path connecting the track path and the first circulation path, and being mounted on the housing; and a roller holding member mounted on the circulation module to hold the roller in the housing. The roller holding member includes: a roller holding claw that contacts a portion of the roller's rolling surface on a track to hold the roller; a second guide surface that contacts a second end face located at the other end of the roller to guide the roller; and a pickup portion that contacts the roller's rolling surface to guide the roller to the second circulation path as the roller moves from the track path toward the second circulation path. The roller holding member is integrally formed.
