Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] This invention relates to the technical field of a gas valve, and more particularly to a valve body switch of a rotary display device. [Previous Technology]
[0002] Bottled gas is a staple in many households today. Its structure consists of a steel cylinder filled with liquefied petroleum and a control valve that regulates the flow of gas from the cylinder to the outside and vice versa. The gas valve itself features a rotating handle. However, this design often results in the next user spending considerable time checking whether the gas cylinder is open or closed because the previous user forgot to tighten it. Therefore, enabling users to quickly identify whether the gas cylinder is currently open or closed is a goal pursued by most gas companies. [Summary of the Invention]
[0003] The main objective of this invention is to provide a valve body switch with a rotary display device that allows users to easily identify whether a gas valve is properly closed. To achieve the above objective and effect, this invention proposes a valve body switch with a rotary display device, comprising: a valve body having a resting part at the top; a handle having a display window on its top surface and being assembled with the valve body; a display device having a support base, a displacement member, and a display member, wherein the bottom of the support base movably abuts against the resting part, the top of the displacement member is connected to the handle and rotates up and down within the support base with the handle, and the display member has an identification part and is pivotally assembled with the support base; while the displacement member moves up and down, the display member simultaneously flips; thus, when the handle is fully tightened, the identification part of the display member flips to the top and is exposed in the display window of the handle.
Implementation Method
[0004] The present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and in the form of embodiments. The drawings used herein are for illustrative purposes only and to assist in the description. They may not represent the actual proportions and precise configurations of the present invention after implementation. Therefore, the scope of the present invention in actual implementation should not be limited by the proportions and configurations of the accompanying drawings. This is hereby stated.
[0005] Please refer to Figure 1 and Figure 12. The present invention is a valve body switch for a rotary display device, comprising:
[0006] The valve body 1 has an abutment part 10 on the top, and the abutment part 10 is provided with a spindle 11.
[0007] The rotary knob 12 has a display window hole 13 formed on its top surface and is assembled with the core shaft 11 of the valve body 1. A clamping groove 14 is recessed on the hole wall of the display window hole 13. The rotary knob 12 rotates axially up and down relative to the core shaft 11 to control the conduction of the core shaft 11.
[0008] The display device 2 includes a mounting seat 20, a displacement member 21, a display member 22 and an elastic member 23.
[0009] The mounting seat 20 has a first positioning groove 200 formed on the inner side of its bottom and two side wings 201 extending upward from the bottom. Horizontal holes 202 are formed on the two side wings 201.
[0010] The displacement member 21 is disposed inside the mounting seat 20. A second positioning groove 210 is provided on the outer side of its bottom corresponding to the first positioning groove 200. The displacement member 21 is axially cut with two groove channels 213 from the top and two cylinders 211 are protruded toward the center position near the bottom ends of the two groove channels 213 on the inner surface. A clamping portion 212 is provided around the outer surface of the displacement member 21 near the top position. In this embodiment, the two groove channels 213 are respectively composed of a continuous bottom groove section 214, a guiding groove section 215 and a top groove section 216.
[0011] The display member 2 is pivotally assembled with the mounting seat 20 and a recognition portion 220 with the word "CLOSE" is provided on its surface. Two convex columns 221 are provided on the side of the display member 2. The two convex columns 221 are abutted against the two groove channels 213 of the displacement member 21 and penetrate into the horizontal holes 202 of the mounting seat 20. A clamping groove portion 222 for the two cylinders 211 of the displacement member (continued on next page) 21 to be inserted is provided at the bottom of the display member 2.
[0012] The elastic member 23 is disposed between the first positioning groove 200 of the mounting seat 20 and the second positioning groove 210 of the displacement member 21 to provide the displacement member 21 with an upward resetting effect through the elastic member 23.
[0013] In practice, the bottom of the mounting seat 20 is movably abutted against the abutting portion 10 of the valve body 1, and the clamping portion 212 of the displacement member 21 is snapped into the clamping groove 14 of the display window hole 13 of the rotary knob 12, so that the displacement member 21 can rotate together with the rotary knob 12. Further, when the rotary knob 12 is not tightened, the core shaft 11 is in a conductive state. The two convex columns 221 of the display member 2 penetrate into the two horizontal holes 202 of the mounting seat and are abutted against the bottom groove section 214 of the two groove channels 213 of the displacement member 21, and the recognition portion 220 of the display member 2 is disposed toward the side, as shown in the sixth figure.
[0014] When the handle 12 begins to tighten, since the support seat 20 cannot move downwards and can only rotate on the abutment part 10, when the displacement member 21 moves downwards with the tightening action of the handle 12, the elastic member 23 is compressed, and the two protrusions 221 of the display member 22 will move upwards to the guide groove section 215 and flip upwards simultaneously, as shown in Figure 7.
[0015] When the handle 12 is fully tightened, the displacement member 21 is moved to the bottom, the spindle 11 is in the closed state, the elastic member 23 is continuously compressed, and the two protrusions 221 of the display member 22 are moved upward to the top groove section 216. At this time, the identification part 220 of the display member 22 flips upward to the top and is exposed in the display window 13 of the handle 12, as shown in Figure 8.
[0016] Conversely, when the handle 12 is turned off in the opposite direction, the displacement member 21 will move upward due to the elastic release of the elastic member 23, while the two protrusions 221 of the display member 22 will move downward along the two grooves 213 to the bottom groove section 214. At this time, the display member 22 will flip downward and the identification part 220 will be positioned to the side, as shown in Figure 9. In other words, the user can check whether the identification part 220 of the display member 22 is exposed in the display window 13 by tightening or loosening the handle 12, thereby determining whether the spindle 11 is in the on or off state.
[0017] In this embodiment, when the display member 22 performs a downward or downward flipping action, the two clamping grooves 222 are clamped to the two pillars 211 of the displacement member 21 to improve the stability of the flipping action of the display member 22.
[0018] In summary, the structural creation disclosed in this invention has an unprecedented innovative structure, so its "novelty" is beyond doubt. Furthermore, this invention can improve efficiency compared to conventional structures, thus it also has "progressiveness". It fully complies with the provisions of the Patent Law of our country concerning invention patent applications.
