Abstract

A contact probe includes a probe body, a through groove, a first locking portion, and a second locking portion. The probe body extends longitudinally and includes a needle tip and a needle tail located at opposite ends along the longitudinal direction, a first side facing a first transverse direction, and a second side facing a second transverse direction. The through groove penetrates the probe body along the second transverse direction and extends longitudinally. The first locking portion protrudes only from the first side along the first transverse direction and is located at the needle tail. The second locking portion protrudes only from the second side along the second transverse direction and is located at the needle tail. This allows for a reduction in the thickness and width of the contact probe at the locations of the first and second locking portions while maintaining the anti-dislodgement function.
