Abstract

The present invention aims to provide an optical laminate that suppresses the loss of dichroic dye from a linear polarizer in high-temperature, high-humidity environments and improves visibility (reduction of interference unevenness and air bubbles), even while having a protective layer on only one side of the linear polarizer. Provided as a solution in the present invention is an optical laminate including, in this order, a first protective layer, a linear polarizer, a first adhesive layer, and a retardation layer laminate.
