Pressure sensing method for a fingerprint sensor

Abstract

A pressure sensing method for a fingerprint sensor includes: during a period from when a finger of a user contacts the fingerprint sensor to when the finger is lifted from the fingerprint sensor, sensing a fingerprint of the finger to obtain a plurality of sequential fingerprint images, the plurality of sequential fingerprint images including a first fingerprint image and a second fingerprint image, the second fingerprint image being acquired later than the first fingerprint image; inputting the first fingerprint image into a machine learning model to generate first feature information; inputting the second fingerprint image into the machine learning model to generate second feature information; calculating a difference level between the first feature information and the second feature information; and determining a pressure information according to the difference level.
