Electronic device and operation method thereof

Abstract

An electronic device including a first housing, a second housing, and a processing unit is provided. The second housing includes a light-emitting touch module, a switching element, and a touch display module. The light-emitting touch module includes an appearance layer, a touch element, and a light-emitting module. The light-emitting module provides a first light beam and a second light beam with different wavelengths to the appearance layer to form a first colored light and a second colored light. The switching element provides a switching signal based on a touch click. The touch display module provides an auxiliary display screen. When the electronic device is in a selection state, the processing unit selects a corresponding area in a display screen based on a selection range on the appearance layer and controls the light output of the light-emitting module based on a change in a touch position to change an intersection position of the first colored light and the second colored light, wherein the intersection position is superimposed on the touch position.
