Abstract

Embodiments of this application disclose a memory system and an operation method therefor, a memory controller and storage medium, and the memory system includes a memory controller and a memory device coupled to the memory controller. The memory device includes a plurality of memory regions. The memory controller is configured to: perform a redundant array of independent disks (RAID) coding operation on received user data to generate parity data; allocate a first physical address pointing to a first memory region in the plurality of memory regions for storing the user data; allocate a second physical address pointing to a second memory region, which is different from the first memory region, for storing the parity data and record the second physical address; send a first write instruction containing the first physical address to the memory device, the first write instruction indicating that the user data is written into the first memory region; and send a second write instruction containing the second physical address, which is different from the first write instruction, to the memory device, the second write instruction indicating that the parity data is written into the second memory region.
