Abstract

Embodiments include systems and methods for data replication. In some embodiments, the method includes analyzing, by at least one scanning agent, metadata and application code associated with at least one data source, the at least one scanning agent and the at least one data source deployed on a mainframe computer system; transmitting information about the analyzed metadata and application code; receiving, by a replication agent, a replication request specifying at least one source data record in the at least one data source; transforming the at least one source data record based on the transmitted information; and transmitting the at least one transformed source data record to a target destination.
