Tracking method and electronic for with dynamic triggering

Abstract

The present invention provides a tracking method and an electronic device with dynamic triggering. The method includes: calculating, by an Interacting Multiple Model (IMM), a fused state of a target, wherein the Interacting Multiple Model includes multiple motion models which used to calculate a multiple model states of the target respectively, and the fused state is calculated according to the model states and multiple model weights; determining whether a trigger condition is satisfied based on the model weights; activating a neural network when the trigger condition is satisfied, and inputting historical positions and historical weights output by the Interacting Multiple Model into the neural network to obtain a first position of the target; and obtaining a second position based on the fused state when the trigger condition is not satisfied.
