Order affinity-based SKU picking method and system

Abstract

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an SKU picking method is executed by a computing system, characterized by comprising the following steps: picking items belonging to SKUs (stock keeping units) placed in a specific zone, wherein the SKUs are placed based on the following operations: identifying the order affinity between each SKU included in multiple SKUs to be placed, wherein the order affinity between each SKU is identified based on the number of times they are ordered together in a single order within a predefined specific period; identifying one or more predefined constraint conditions; and formulating an SKU placement plan that maximizes the sum of order affinity between a first SKU and a second SKU placed in the same zone among the multiple SKUs while satisfying the constraint conditions, wherein the SKU placement plan places the multiple SKUs in at least one or more zones.
