Abstract

The purpose of this invention is to improve the tracking speed of visible light projection on a moving target. The information processing apparatus of this invention includes: a communication unit for communicating with a photographic apparatus that continuously photographs an object; and a control unit for processing photographic images obtained from the photographic apparatus. The control unit performs: a first processing step of detecting feature parts of the object contained in a first photographic image; and a second processing step of detecting new feature parts by taking the aforementioned feature parts in the previous photographic image as initial values ​​and correcting those initial values ​​for a second photographic image obtained between the first and second processing steps, following the first photographic image; and outputting information on the aforementioned new feature parts in the second photographic image corresponding to the end of the second processing step.
