Abstract

The stator disclosed herein comprises a stator core, a housing, a busbar, a resin portion, and an expansion material. A plurality of coils are arranged circumferentially around a central axis in the stator core. The housing houses the stator core. The busbar is arranged along the inner circumferential surface of the stator core and has a coil connection portion for connecting to the plurality of coils, and an external connection portion extending from the coil connection portion toward the outer circumference of the housing. The resin portion covers the stator core and the busbar within the housing. Furthermore, the outer circumference of the housing has an opening. Furthermore, the external connection portion is disposed in the opening. Furthermore, at least a portion of the expansion material is disposed between the housing and the external connection portion.
