Abstract
According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a rotor rotates around a central axis. The rotor includes an expanding material, multiple magnets, and a rotor core. The multiple magnets are arranged circumferentially. The rotor core holds the multiple magnets. The rotor core has radially extending walls located between adjacent magnets. The expanding material is located between the magnets and the walls of the rotor core.
