Transmission apparatus, method, receiving apparatus, and method for cross-satellite communication network

Abstract

Transmission apparatus and method, receiving apparatus and method are provided. The transmission apparatus generates a neighbor network information based on a communication protocol corresponding to a communications satellite. The transmission apparatus transmits a mediate packet including the neighbor network information to the receiving apparatus. The receiving apparatus obtains a second header, based on a first header and the neighbor network information of the mediate packet. The receiving apparatus transmits a forwarded packet to the communications satellite based on the communication protocol, wherein the forwarded packet includes the second header and data of the mediate packet.
