Systems and methods associated with autonomous SDU retransmissions

Abstract

Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and instrumentalities associated with autonomous service data unit (SDU) retransmissions and / or radio link failure (RLF) handling. A wireless transmit / receive unit (WTRU) may receive configuration information associated with a service data unit (SDU), wherein the configuration information may indicate a first condition and a second condition associated with SDU retransmission. The first condition may be related at least to a remaining time associated with the SDU and the second condition may be related at least to whether a part of the SDU is pending for transmission. The WTRU may be further configured to determine whether the first condition and the second condition are both met, and based on a determination that the first condition and the second condition are both met, the WTRU may re-transmit at least a segment of the SDU.
