Network systems and processing methods

Abstract

A network system composed of multiple devices can obtain authenticated location information of the devices and provide various services using the authenticated location information. Each of the multiple devices includes: a communication unit for data communication with other devices; a storage unit for storing electronic authentication including a public key used to determine its own IP address; and a determination unit for determining the IP addresses of other devices based on the public key contained in the electronic authentication received from other devices. The electronic authentication includes location information associated with the corresponding device.
