Training and inference consistency in ai / ML positioning

Abstract

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for training and inference consistency in AI / ML positioning. One method may include a user equipment transmitting, to a network entity, a request for positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration, wherein the request indicates a user equipment (UE)-preferred PRS configuration for configuring one or more network-side additional conditions for UE-side artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML)-enabled positioning; transmitting, to the network entity, a first indication of detected performance degradation associated with the UE-side AI / ML-enabled positioning at the UE; and receiving, from the network entity, a first configuration associated with PRS configuration, wherein the first configuration comprises at least one network-side additional condition.
