Transmission method on non-primary channels, transmission method and apparatus on primary channels

Abstract

protocols, IEEE 802.11bf / sensing protocols, or IEEE 802.15 / UWB protocols; the method may also support the SparkLink protocol. The method can be applied to scenarios where a station can switch between NPCA mode and PCA mode. The method includes: switching an AP to a non-primary channel; determining that a first moment at which the value of the backoff counter associated with the non-primary channel is reduced to zero is earlier than a second moment at which a first station switches to the non-primary channel; determining that the non-primary channel is idle from the first moment to the second moment; and sending a first data packet to the first station on the non-primary channel at the second moment, so as to avoid packet loss caused by the first station not yet having switched to the non-primary channel when the AP sends the first data packet to the first station.
