Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] This invention relates to a device for removing roots from the surface of agricultural products, and more particularly to a device for removing roots from the surface of agricultural products to assist in removing roots from the surface of agricultural products. [Previous Technology]
[0002] Generally, when harvesting agricultural products with surface roots, such as taro, the harvesting is mainly done manually. During the harvesting process, the workers will cut off the surface roots of the agricultural products and then dig them out.
[0003] However, the traditional method of manual harvesting not only requires a lot of human resources, but also often suffers from manpower shortages in today's society where the agricultural population is constantly decreasing. Therefore, in some areas, harvesting machinery is used to harvest agricultural products. However, the current harvesting machinery can only harvest agricultural products, and the surface roots of agricultural products still need to be removed manually. Therefore, how to reduce the labor cost required for removing the surface roots of agricultural products and improve the efficiency of the operation is the goal that the applicant of this invention is committed to researching. [Summary of the Invention]
[0004] The main purpose of this invention is to provide a device for removing roots from the surface of agricultural products, thereby reducing the labor costs required for removing roots from the surface of agricultural products and improving work efficiency.
[0005] To achieve the aforementioned objective, the agricultural product surface root removal device of this invention comprises: a machine body, which includes an inlet, a cutting section, and an outlet connected sequentially from front to back; the cutting section forms a root collection space, and the outlet forms an outlet collection space; a lifting drive module, which is disposed in the inlet of the machine body; a cutting module, which includes a rotation drive, a rotating shaft, a roller, and an inlet hopper; the rotation drive is pivotally mounted on the outlet of the machine body; the rotating shaft is connected to the rotation drive and the lifting drive module; the roller is disposed on the rotating shaft and can be driven to rotate by the rotation drive; a rolling space is formed inside the roller; the rolling space forms an inlet near the inlet of the machine body and an outlet near the outlet; and the roller is distributed with a plurality of through-holes. The cutting holes on the peripheral wall have a diameter that gradually decreases from the outside to the inside of the roller, and each cutting hole forms an annular cutting edge at the inner edge of the roller. The plurality of cutting holes are located above the cutting part. The feed hopper is located at the front end of the roller and has a feed channel facing the feed inlet of the roller. The roller of the cutting module can be driven by the lifting drive module to change the tilt angle. A control module is located on the machine body and electrically connected to the lifting drive module and the cutting module.
[0006] The inner diameter of the roller gradually decreases from the feed inlet to the discharge outlet.
[0007] In addition, the lifting drive module includes a lifting drive component and a lifting carrier. The lifting drive component is disposed at the feeding part of the machine body. The lifting carrier is vertically and vertically disposed on the lifting drive component. The rotation shaft of the cutting module is connected to the lifting carrier. The lifting drive component can control the lifting of the lifting carrier to adjust the tilt angle of the roller of the cutting module.
[0008] Furthermore, the cutting part of the machine body has a root guide inclined plate that is inclined downward to one side, and the cutting part has a root output port that communicates with the root collection space on the downward inclined side of the root guide inclined plate. The discharge part of the machine body has an outlet guide inclined plate that is inclined downward in the rear direction, and the discharge part has a material collection outlet that communicates with the discharge collection space at the rear end of the outlet guide inclined plate.
[0009] In addition, the machine body can extend further back at the aggregate outlet to form an extension guide plate.
[0010] The agricultural product surface root removal device of this invention is applied to the surface root removal operation of agricultural products such as taro. The agricultural product surface root removal device can control the tilt angle of the roller through the lifting drive module and drive the roller to rotate through the rotation drive component. The operator can feed the agricultural product into the feed hopper, so that the agricultural product enters the roller from the feed channel of the feed hopper and rolls inside the roller.
[0011] The agricultural product surface root removal device of this invention mainly uses the cutting holes distributed on the roller to allow the surface roots of agricultural products to penetrate into the cutting holes during the rolling process. The cutting edge of the inner edge of the cutting hole cuts off the protruding surface roots, thereby achieving the effect of removing surface roots. At the same time, it can reduce the labor cost required for removing surface roots of agricultural products and greatly improve the work efficiency.
Implementation Method
[0012] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4, which are a preferred embodiment of the agricultural product surface root removal device of the present invention, which includes a machine body 10, a lifting drive module 20, a cutting module 30 and a control module 40.
[0013] As shown in Figures 1 to 4, the machine body 10 includes a feeding section 11, a cutting section 12, and a discharging section 13 connected sequentially from front to back. The cutting section 12 forms a root collection space 121, and the discharging section 13 forms a discharge collection space 131. The cutting section 12 of the machine body 10 has a root guide ramp 122 that is inclined downward to one side, and the cutting section 12 has a root outlet 123 that communicates with the root collection space 121 on the downwardly inclined side of the root guide ramp 122. The discharging section 13 of the machine body 10 has an outlet guide ramp 132 that is inclined downward in the rear direction, and the discharging section 13 has a collection outlet 133 that communicates with the discharge collection space 131 at the rear end of the outlet guide ramp 132. In addition, the machine body 10 extends rearward at the collection outlet 133 to form an extension guide plate 134.
[0014] As shown in Figures 1 to 4, the lifting drive module 20 is disposed in the feeding section 11 of the machine body 10; wherein, the lifting drive module 20 includes a lifting drive component 21 and a lifting carrier 22, the lifting drive component 21 is disposed in the feeding section 11 of the machine body 10, and the lifting carrier 22 is vertically and vertically disposed on the lifting drive component 21.
[0015] As shown in Figures 3 and 5, the cutting module 30 includes a rotation drive 31, a rotation shaft 32, a roller 33, and a feed hopper 34. The rotation drive 31 is pivotally mounted on the discharge section 13 of the machine body 10. The rotation shaft 32 is connected to the rotation drive 31 and the lifting drive module 20. The roller 33 is mounted on the rotation shaft 32 and can be driven to rotate by the rotation drive 31. A rolling space 331 is formed inside the roller 33. The rolling space 331 has an inlet 332 near the feed section 11 of the machine body 10 and an outlet 333 near the discharge section 13. The cylinder 33 has a plurality of cutting holes 334 penetrating its outer peripheral wall. The diameter of each cutting hole 334 gradually decreases from the outside to the inside of the cylinder 33. Each cutting hole 334 forms an annular cutting edge 335 at the edge of the hole on the inside of the cylinder 33. The plurality of cutting holes 334 are located above the cutting part 12. The feed hopper 34 is located at the front end of the cylinder 33 and has a feed channel 341 facing the feed inlet 332 of the cylinder 33. The cylinder 33 of the cutting module 30 can be driven by the lifting drive module 20 to change its tilt angle. The inner diameter of the cylinder 33 gradually decreases from the feed inlet 332 to the discharge outlet 333.
[0016] As shown in Figure 3, the rotating shaft 32 of the cutting module 30 is connected to the lifting carrier 22, and the lifting drive 21 can control the lifting of the lifting carrier 22 to adjust the tilt angle of the roller 33 of the cutting module 30.
[0017] As shown in Figure 2, the control module 40 is mounted on the machine body 10 and electrically connected to the lifting drive module 20 and the cutting module 30.
[0018] As shown in Figures 2 to 8, the agricultural product surface root removal device of this invention is applied to the surface root removal operation of agricultural products 50 such as taro. Before the surface root removal operation of agricultural product 50 is carried out, the operator can place a collection bucket 60 at the rear end of the extension guide plate 134 of the machine body 10. The operator can first operate the control module 40 to control the lifting drive module 20 to raise and lower the lifting carrier 22, thereby controlling the tilt angle of the roller 33 of the cutting module 30. The operator can then operate the control module 40 to control the rotation drive component 31 of the cutting module 30 to drive the roller 33 to start rotating.
[0019] As shown in Figures 5 to 7, the operator can place the agricultural products 50 into the feed hopper 34 in sequence, so that the agricultural products 50 enter the feed port 332 of the roller 33 from the feed channel 341 of the feed hopper 34 and fall into the rolling space 331 of the roller 33. At this time, the agricultural product 50 will roll inside the roller 33 as the roller 33 rotates, and the roots on the surface of the agricultural product 50 will extend out of the cutting hole 334 of the roller 33 during the rolling process. Under the relative shearing of the rolling of the agricultural product 50 and the rotation of the roller 33, the cutting edge 335 of the inner edge of the cutting hole 334 of the roller 33 can reliably cut off the roots on the surface of the agricultural product 50. The cut-off roots will fall into the root collection space 121 of the machine body 10, and be guided to the root output port 123 by the root guide inclined plate 122. As shown in Figure 8, after the agricultural product 50 repeatedly rolls inside the roller 33 and the surface roots are removed, it falls from the discharge port 333 of the roller 33 into the discharge collection space 131 of the discharge section 13, and passes through the collection outlet 133 under the guidance of the outlet guide inclined plate 132, and finally falls into the collection bucket 60 from the extension guide plate 134.
[0020] The present invention's agricultural product surface root removal device can control the tilt angle of the roller 33 by controlling the lifting drive module 20, thereby controlling the time it takes for the agricultural product 50 to pass through the roller 33; in addition, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention's agricultural product surface root removal device, the inner diameter of the roller 33 gradually decreases from the inlet 332 to the outlet 333. Due to the difference in the front and rear inner diameters of the roller 33, the agricultural product 50 will roll faster and faster inside the roller 33, and at the same time, the agricultural product 50 will be subjected to centrifugal force, thereby providing a better root cutting effect, and thereby making the surface of the agricultural product 50 smoother by the cutting of the plurality of cutting holes 334.
[0021] In summary, the agricultural product surface root removal device of this invention can use the cutting holes 334 distributed on the roller 33 to allow the surface roots of the agricultural product 50 to penetrate into the cutting holes 334 during the rolling process, and the cutting edge 335 on the inner edge of the cutting hole 334 can cut off the protruding surface roots, thereby achieving the effect of removing surface roots. At the same time, it can reduce the labor cost required for removing surface roots of agricultural products 50 and greatly improve the work efficiency. [Simplified Explanation of the Diagram]
