Abstract

The meat cutting device (10) includes a cover (12), a movable blade (13), and a suction device (16). The cover (12) has an opening (11). The movable blade (13) is supported by the inside of the cover (12) and moves across the opening (11). The movable blade (13) clamps the cutting target portion (7) of the meat (6) between the movable blade (13) and the edge of the opening (11) to cut the cutting target portion (7). The suction device (16) applies a suction negative pressure to the opening (11) from the inside of the cover (12).
