Abstract

This invention provides a cleat (a buckling piece) structure designed to increase lateral displacement. This is mainly achieved by flipping the positioning plate laterally, causing its upper and lower surfaces to switch positions. As a result, the laterally offset elongated slot of the positioning plate can swap positions within the cleat’s engagement slot. By aligning the elongated slot of the positioning plate with the screw holes on the cycling shoe body, the cleat can be properly positioned. Then, by fastening the cleat and positioning plate together with screws through the corresponding elongated slot and screw holes, the cleat moves laterally as a unit along with the positioning plate. This design allows for an increased range of lateral adjustment of the cleat on the sole of the cycling shoe. It accommodates users with different foot shapes, those who prefer a position closer to the crank, and those with wider hip joints, enabling them to adjust the cleat position to their preferred setting.

[0002] Generally, a rider of a road bicycle will use a pedal-clamping device to clamp the shoe body on the pedal with the pedal-clamping device. After the rider uses the pedal-clamping device, even when encountering potholes or unstable road conditions, or when climbing a slope, pushing the bike hard, or pedaling at a high speed, the rider can avoid the danger of stepping on empty space. Please refer to FIG. 1, which is a conventional pedal shoe body 1 and its corresponding cleat 2 structure, wherein the pedal shoe body 1 is provided with a plurality of screw lock holes 3, the cleat 2 is provided with a plurality of cleat seats 4, each of the cleat seats 4 is provided with a cleat groove 8, and the space inside the cleat groove 8 can just provide a positioning piece of the same volume. 6 is accommodated therein, and the positioning piece 6 is provided with a long slot hole 7 so that a screw lock member 5 can be screwed and fixed to the positioning piece 6 and the cleat 2 together with the screw lock hole 3 of the pedal shoe body 1; however, the positioning piece 6 provided with the long slot hole 7 of the conventional cleat 2 structure is a fixed structure, so when users with different foot shapes, or users who like to be closer to the crank, or users with wider hip joints need to adjust the lateral displacement of the cleat 2, the conventional structure cannot adjust the lateral displacement of the cleat 2, so there is a problem of space for further improvement of the conventional structure. Summary of the invention

[0003] The technical features of the present invention for solving the problem mainly include a pedal shoe body, the bottom surface of which is provided with at least one screw lock hole; a clip, a clip having a clip seat corresponding to the screw lock hole of the pedal shoe body, a clip groove inside of the clip seat, a step edge with a predetermined depth inside of the clip groove, a through hole inside of the step edge; a positioning piece, which is arranged in the clip groove of the clip and limited to the step edge of the clip, the positioning piece having an upper end face and a lower end face, and a center line is defined in the center of the positioning piece, and the center line is a A long slot hole is arranged on the side, and the long slot hole is opposite to the screw locking hole of the pedal shoe body. A closed surface is formed on the other side of the center line. The upper end surface and the lower end surface of the positioning piece can be interchanged by turning over horizontally, so that the long slot hole of the positioning piece can be interchanged left and right in the buckle groove of the buckle piece to adjust the lateral displacement of the buckle piece at the bottom of the pedal shoe body; a screw locking piece is inserted into the long slot hole of the positioning piece, and then the positioning piece and the buckle piece are screwed and fixed to the screw locking hole of the pedal shoe body.

[0004] By this, the present invention flips the positioning piece horizontally to the left and right sides so that the upper end face and the lower end face of the positioning piece can be interchanged, and the side-biased long slot hole of the positioning piece can be interchanged on the left and right sides in the buckle slot of the buckle piece, that is, the long slot hole can be exchanged on the left side or the right side. The buckle piece needs to be aligned with the screw lock hole of the pedal shoe body through the long slot hole of the positioning piece, and then the buckle piece and the positioning piece are screwed and fixed together through the corresponding long slot hole and the screw lock hole by the screw lock piece. Therefore, the buckle piece will be laterally displaced as a whole with the position of the long slot hole of the positioning piece, so that the lateral displacement of the buckle piece at the bottom of the pedal shoe body can be adjusted and increased, so that users with different foot shapes, or users who like to be closer to the crank, or users of pedal shoes with wider hip joints can adjust to the buckle piece position that suits their own settings. A closed surface 22 is formed on the other side of the center line 21. The closed surface 22 has the function of strengthening the overall structural rigidity of the positioning piece 20. The positioning piece 20 can be turned over horizontally to interchange the upper end surface S1 and the lower end surface S2, so that the long slot hole 23 of the positioning piece 20 can be interchanged left and right in the buckle groove 12 of the buckle piece 10, so as to adjust the lateral displacement of the buckle piece 10 at the bottom of the pedal shoe body 40;

[0010] A screw lock member 30 is inserted into the long slot hole 23 of the positioning plate 20 , and then the positioning plate 20 and the buckle plate 10 are screwed and fixed to the screw lock hole 41 of the pedal shoe body 40 .

[0011] Next, the cleat 10 of the present invention is used as a road bicycle pedal in this embodiment, so that the cleat 10 is provided with three sets of mountain-shaped cleat seats 11, each of the cleat seats 11 is provided with a cleat groove 12, a step edge 13 with a predetermined depth is provided inside the cleat groove 12, the through hole 14 is provided inside the step edge 13, and the locating piece 20 is provided inside the cleat groove 12 respectively, each of the locating pieces 20 is limited to the step edge 13 inside the cleat groove 12 of each cleat 10, the locating piece 20 has an upper end surface S1 and a lower end surface S2, and a center line 21 is defined in the center of the locating piece 20, a long slot hole 23 is provided at one side of the center line 21, and a closed surface 22 is formed on the other side of the center line 21.

[0012] Please refer to FIG. 4, which is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of the positioning piece 20 that can be turned over horizontally.
