Abstract
A jaw correction device comprises a lateral dentition configuration part, a first pressure generating part, a second pressure generating part, and a force transmission part; and (1) when worn, the lateral dentition configuration part is configured on the palatal side of the maxillary dentition along the left and right sides of the wearer (patient), with the longest area corresponding to the region from the canine to the second molar; (2) the first pressure generating part includes a pressure transmission part and a pressure source near the hard palate, and is connected to the left and right lateral dentition configuration parts; (3) the second pressure generating part is present in the connection part between the left and right lateral dentition configuration parts and the left and right first pressure transmission parts, and generates a force that expands the rearward angle formed by the connection part as the second pressure; (4) the force transmission part includes a curved redundant part connected from the distal end of the lateral dentition configuration part, and a wearing fixation part connected to the curved redundant part and having the function of fixing to the maxillary molar; (5) The combined force of the first and second pressing pressures can be transmitted to the maxillary molars through the wearing fixation part; By using the above-mentioned jaw position correction device, it was found that early contact with biting interference was generated at the maxillary molars. As a result, the patient's jaw position can be restored to a relaxed state to improve appearance and relieve maxillary protrusion.
