Indirect bonding tray featuring stable bracket positioning and easy adhesive cleaning

Abstract

An indirect bonding tray includes a tray body configured to fit a patient’s dental arch and a plurality of modules attached to the tray body with at least one flexible material. Each module defines a receiving well having sidewalls, at least one detent, a plurality of support surfaces, and a plurality of slits configured to permit elastic deformation. The detents and support surfaces are configured to retain an orthodontic bracket in a predetermined position while providing tactile feedback upon insertion. The receiving wells are configured to provide a clearance around bracket pads to facilitate the removal of excess adhesive.
