Abstract

The tool center of gravity position measuring device includes: a tool holding member configured to hold a tool and capable of rotating about a rotation axis; a tool weight measuring unit for measuring the weight of the tool held by the tool holding member; a torque measuring unit for measuring the rotation torque of the tool holding member about the rotation axis caused by the weight acting on the tool holding member and the tool held by the tool holding member; a center of gravity position calculation unit for calculating the center of gravity position of the tool, expressed as a distance from a predetermined reference position, based on the weight of the tool measured by the tool weight measuring unit and the rotation torque measured by the torque measuring unit; and an output unit for outputting the center of gravity position calculated by the center of gravity position calculation unit.
