Mobile robot and robot system

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a mobile robot and a robot system. The mobile robot includes a mobile main body, two main wheel modules, and an outwardly extending component. The two main wheel modules are arranged at intervals along a first direction. Each main wheel module includes a first wheel frame, a driving wheel, and a brushless motor. The first wheel frame is disposed on the mobile main body and has a first surface facing the other main wheel module. The driving wheel is rotatably disposed on the first wheel frame. The brushless motor is disposed to the first surface and used to drive the driving wheel. The outwardly extending component is disposed to the mobile main body and is capable of being switched between a folded state and an unfolded state. In the folded state, the outwardly extending component is arranged between the two brushless motors along the first direction, and at least partially sinks to a height position of the main wheel modules in a height direction. With the above design, a large space between the two main wheel modules according to the present disclosure is reserved for arranging the outwardly extending component therein, to reduce space occupation of the outwardly extending component in the height direction without increasing a distance between the two main wheel modules.
