Method for manufacturing fluoropolymer molded articles

Abstract

This invention provides a method for manufacturing a fluoropolymer molded article, which involves heat-treating a molded article containing a fluoropolymer and a fluorinated compound having a hydrophilic group at a temperature below the melting point of the fluoropolymer to produce a molded article with a reduced content of the fluorinated compound having a hydrophilic group. The molded article contains a fluoropolymer containing at least one fluorinated ether monomer unit selected from the group consisting of perfluorovinyl ether units and perfluoroallyl ether units. The fluorinated compound having a hydrophilic group is a fluorinated compound represented by the general formula: [C5F11COO-]M+ (where M+ represents a cation). none
