Battery mounting components for human-powered vehicles

Abstract

The present invention provides a battery mounting component for a human-powered vehicle with a removable battery. The battery mounting component for a human-powered vehicle includes: a body provided on the vehicle body of the human-powered vehicle; a latch provided on the body and having an engagement portion that engages with the battery of the human-powered vehicle; an engagement portion force-applying portion for applying force to the engagement portion toward the battery; and a release lever for moving the latch portion in a manner that releases the engagement portion from the battery; the release lever is configured to move between an engagement position for engaging the engagement portion with the battery and a release position for releasing the engagement portion from the battery; the body has a body support surface that contacts the release lever; and the release lever has a sliding surface that slides on the body support surface by moving the release lever between the engagement position and the release position.
