Pipe lifting tool and method of use

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a novel pipe lifting tool and method. The tool is equipped with a handle, which allows workers to manually lift, transport, and operate pipes at construction sites. The method involves using three contact points inside the pipe, arranged in an isosceles triangle configuration. This triangular locking mechanism, which secures the inner edge of the pipe, is implemented through a horizontal bar. The horizontal bar is equipped with anti-slip elements at both ends and has a vertically extending rod attached to its underside. The lower end of the vertical rod is also provided with an anti-slip element. During use, the horizontal bar is inserted into the interior of the pipe. When the worker lifts the handle, the horizontal bar makes contact with the inner wall of the pipe and rotates until the lower end of the vertical rod also contacts the inner wall of the pipe. This action locks the entire tool in a suitable position within the pipe, thereby enabling stable lifting and handling of the pipe.
