Transfer tool

Abstract

A transfer tool is disclosed that allows personnel to operate loading / unloading and lifting of carriers (such as wafer boxes). The transfer tool includes a vehicle body, a plurality of wheels, a fork mechanism, a lifting platform, an elevating pedal, a hydraulic mechanism, and a pressure relief device. The wheels are installed on the bottom of the vehicle body for easy mobility. The fork mechanism is mounted on the lifting platform and can move back and forth on the lifting platform to perform material handling operations. The lifting platform is installed on the vehicle body and can be lifted or lowered. The hydraulic mechanism is positioned between the lifting platform and the elevating pedal, allowing the lifting platform and fork mechanism to be raised when the elevating pedal is pressed. The pressure relief device is connected to the hydraulic mechanism and is used to release hydraulic pressure, allowing the lifting platform and fork mechanism to lower. A positioning pin is placed between the fork mechanism and the lifting platform, ensuring that the fork mechanism can be locked into a predetermined position for safety purposes. The vehicle body is equipped with a brake handle to control a braking mechanism of the wheels. Additionally, a safety lock switch with a mistake-proof mechanism is installed to enhance the safety lock function. As a result, personnel can easily and safely transport a 20kg carrier to various process stations and place the carrier on the machine platform for production purposes.
