Abstract

A pure water production apparatus 10 sequentially processes water to produce pure water, comprising: a first membrane separation device 11 having a reverse osmosis membrane for processing the water to be treated; at least one electro-deionized water production device 12 for desalinating the permeate from the first membrane separation device 11; and a second membrane separation device 13 having a reverse osmosis membrane or nanofiltration membrane for processing the deionized water from the at least one electro-deionized water production device 12. A pure water production apparatus 10 is an apparatus for sequentially treating a water to be treated to produce pure water, and includes a first membrane separation device 11 having a reverse osmosis membrane for treating the water to be treated, at least one electrodeionized water production device 12 for conducting a desalting treatment of the permeate from the first membrane separation device 11, and a second membrane separation device 13 having a reverse osmosis membrane or nanofiltration membrane for treating the deionized water from the at least one electrodeionized water production device 12.
