Antistatic composition

Abstract

This invention provides an antistatic agent composition that, when added to an adhesive layer, imparts effective antistatic surface resistance and appropriate peel strength. The antistatic composition of this invention comprises: a cyclic carbonate compound as shown in formula (1), and a salt consisting of a dicyandiamide anion as shown in formula (2) and a pyridinium cation as shown in formula (3); (in formula (1), R1 represents a hydrocarbon group, hydroxyl group, or carboxyl group containing an oxygen atom, and R2 represents a hydrocarbon group, hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, or hydrogen atom that may contain an oxygen atom); (in formula, R3 and R4 independently represent any of the following: alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, allyl, cycloalkyl, and hydrocarbon group, carboxyl group, hydroxyl group, or hydrogen atom containing an oxygen atom, having a substituent number of 1 to 20 carbon atoms).
