Abstract

This invention provides a composite for inhibiting cracking in a hardened composite. The composite comprises a metal powder and a resin composition. The metal powder is a soft magnetic material. The resin composition comprises an epoxy resin and a hardener. The hardener comprises a first-biphenyl aryl phenolic resin and a second-biphenyl aryl phenolic resin with different hydroxyl equivalents. The hydroxyl equivalent of the first-biphenyl aryl phenolic resin is less than that of the second-biphenyl aryl phenolic resin. The mass ratio of the first-biphenyl aryl phenolic resin to the second-biphenyl aryl phenolic resin is 66.8 parts by mass and 72.3 parts by mass and less, relative to 100 parts by mass of epoxy resin.
