Abstract

An electrochemical cell system. The electrochemical cell system comprising one or more stack of cell units arranged in an enclosure, the enclosure extending lengthwise parallel to a first axis and one or more electrical connector, configured to provide electrical power to or from said one or more stack, each said electrical connector extending between a first connection point for electrically connecting that electrical connector out of the enclosure and a second connection point for electrically connecting that electrical connector to one or more stack, said first and second connection points being separated by a distance extending parallel to the first axis. Said one or more electrical connector comprises at least one portion that extends laterally relative to said first axis, said portion being configured to deform to accommodate changes in length between said connection points caused by temperature changes within the enclosure.
