Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] This invention relates to a color matching object for checking the color of embroidery threads in various embroidery styles, and in particular to an embroidery thread color matching board and set that uses a scientific analysis method for coding, so that the composition ratio of color attributes is decomposed into different numbers and arranged together to form an embroidery thread code. [Previous Technology]

[0002] Cross-stitch is a traditional and popular embroidery technique. Its name comes from the fact that the pattern is made up of many "X"-shaped stitches. This type of cross-stitch usually uses fabric with evenly spaced squares, allowing the embroiderer to accurately stitch each "X" along the grid lines of the fabric according to the pattern, thus completing the designed design. With the evolution and popularization of embroidery threads, various cross-stitch material kits have been launched on the market for beginners and experienced embroiderers to choose from.

[0003] However, in detailed cross-stitch works, there are often embroidery threads or yarns with very similar colors. It is difficult for consumers to distinguish them directly by sight. Therefore, in practice, the wrong color of embroidery thread is often used, resulting in poor completion of the final work. Or, in the case of missing some colors of embroidery thread, the user cannot correctly express the color of the embroidery thread, causing communication problems between the buyer and the seller.

[0004] Therefore, in order to overcome the shortcomings caused by similar embroidery thread colors, various manufacturers on the market have assigned a unique number to each embroidery thread of different colors, and compiled all the embroidery threads and their corresponding unique numbers into an embroidery thread color card, so that users can intuitively see the embroidery thread color and the corresponding representative number through the embroidery thread color card, thereby improving the shortcomings of traditional communication.

[0005] However, the embroidery thread color cards currently on the market are book cards with multiple bundles of embroidery thread of various colors placed on them. These multiple bundles of embroidery thread are arranged in a straight line to form multiple embroidery thread groups, and the multiple embroidery thread groups are arranged alternately with each other. Each bundle of embroidery thread has a serial number assigned by the manufacturer. Users only need to specify the manufacturer's name and their own serial number to represent the specified color of the embroidery thread.

[0006] However, the traditional serial numbers themselves have no meaning. They are simply arranged by the manufacturers according to the order in which the embroidery threads are released. This results in some embroidery threads having only two numbers, while others have more than four numbers. In addition, the numbers of embroidery threads of the same color can vary greatly. If the wrong number is expressed or selected when purchasing, it often results in the user purchasing the wrong embroidery thread with a very different color or color scheme.

[0007] Since the traditional serial numbering method has no logic or regularity, and different manufacturers use different serial numbers for the same color of embroidery thread; for embroidery thread sellers, it is necessary to be able to distinguish and remember them due to the needs of their business scope, but for ordinary embroiderers, it is very difficult to remember different manufacturer names and the corresponding embroidery thread numbers.

[0008] Furthermore, current embroidery thread color cards integrate all embroidery threads and their corresponding serial numbers into the same book, making it impossible to separate a certain embroidery thread or a certain color group from the embroidery thread color card for use. This makes it difficult for embroiderers to intuitively confirm the color matching of the target embroidery thread or the target pattern. [Summary of the Invention]

[0009] The first objective of this invention is to introduce scientific methods of color adjustment into the embroidery thread coding mechanism, so that the embroidery thread coding on the color thread board is presented using the composition ratio of color attributes, so that users can improve efficiency and reduce the occurrence of embroidery thread color errors through special embroidery thread coding, whether in computer drawing, embroidery thread trading or practical communication.

[0010] The second objective of this invention is that users can predict the color change pattern in advance by increasing or decreasing the numbers on the embroidery thread code; making it convenient for users to quickly select the appropriate color gradation of embroidery thread by intuitively observing the numerical changes of the embroidery thread number.

[0011] The third objective of this invention is that the embroidery thread can be encoded using any color mode such as CMY, RGB, HSB, Lab, etc., so that when people are making production, buying and selling, or communicating, the object agreed upon by both parties is a designated embroidery thread with the same color as the embroidery thread color matching board.

[0012] The fourth objective of the present invention is that, in addition to the scientifically represented embroidery thread codes, the embroidery thread color matching board also has a lookup table that allows users to fill in the embroidery thread edge codes of the present invention and the embroidery thread serial numbers of different manufacturers, so that the embroidery thread color matching board can also be used in conjunction with the embroidery thread numbers of multiple different manufacturers.

[0013] The fifth objective of the present invention is that the thickness of one side of the embroidery thread matching plate gradually decreases to form an inclined surface, so that the embroidery threads on the embroidery thread matching plate can be placed obliquely to be close to the target embroidery thread or the color matching position, so that the user can intuitively identify the embroidery thread code that is the same as the target color.

[0014] The sixth objective of this invention is to provide a color matching kit that can store multiple embroidery thread color matching boards, allowing users to easily remove or store them by simply plugging and unplugging them, while avoiding the problems of traditional paper thread boards being easily scratched, dirty, or moldy due to moisture.

[0015] The seventh objective of this invention is that, in addition to storing the color matching templates, the color matching kit is also designed with a measuring ruler that can be accessed and stored at any time, thus improving the inconvenience of traditional templates that only have color checking functions but no other functions.

[0016] To achieve the aforementioned first to fifth objectives, the embroidery thread color matching board of the present invention includes a board body and a plurality of embroidery threads. The board body has a front side and a back side. The front side has a number display area and an object positioning area. The number display area has a plurality of adjacent display frames. The plurality of display frames have a first number, a second number and a third number arranged in sequence. The first number, the second number and the third number respectively represent the composition ratio of color attributes.

[0017] The plurality of embroidery threads are fixed to the object positioning area of the plate and are arranged adjacent to each other on one side of the information display area, so that each of the plurality of embroidery threads can be aligned with one of the plurality of display frames. The plurality of embroidery threads have different colors, and each embroidery thread is paired with a set of color codes composed of the first number, the second number and the third number.

[0018] The first number, the second number, and the third number of the embroidery thread color matching board of the present invention are respectively selected from a range of numbers to form a matching ratio value of the corresponding embroidery thread color, so that the color code of each embroidery thread pairing is not repeated and is not continuous.

[0019] The number display area of the plate is set to a fixed thickness of the same size, while the object positioning area of the plate is set to a decreasing thickness that gradually shrinks outward, so that the object positioning area forms an inclined surface.

[0020] The back of the plate has a reference table with multiple horizontal dividing lines and a vertical dividing line. The multiple horizontal dividing lines, together with the vertical dividing line, divide multiple left columns and multiple right columns, and the area of the left column is smaller than the area of the right column.

[0021] The panel further has an information display column located above the lookup table, the information display column being aligned with an information display area on the front of the panel, the plurality of left columns being aligned with the number display area on the front of the panel, and the plurality of right columns being aligned with the object positioning area on the front of the panel.

[0022] In addition, the embroidery thread color plate further includes a winding tape and a plurality of dividing embroidery threads of the same color, the plurality of embroidery threads being wound around the winding tape at intervals, such that the winding tape forms a plurality of dividing areas at equal intervals, and each dividing embroidery thread is wound around each dividing area of the winding tape, such that the plurality of embroidery threads and the plurality of dividing embroidery threads are arranged alternately.

[0023] In a preferred embodiment, the first number, the second number and the third number are represented by the CMY method to represent the composition ratio, and the number range of the first number, the second number and the third number are all between 00 and 99, so that the color code is a six-digit number.

[0024] In another preferred embodiment, the first number, the second number and the third number are represented by RGB to represent the composition ratio, and the number range of the first number, the second number and the third number are all between 000 and 255, so that the color code is a nine-digit number.

[0025] In another preferred embodiment, the first number, the second number and the third number are represented by the HSB method to represent the composition ratio, the first number is in the range of 000 to 360, and the second number and the third number are in the range of 000 to 100, so that the color code is a nine-digit number.

[0026] To achieve the aforementioned sixth to seventh objectives, the embroidery thread matching kit of the present invention includes a storage box and a plurality of embroidery thread matching boards. The storage box has a lower box and an upper cover that can be detached from the lower box, and a storage space is formed between the lower box and the upper cover. The lower box has a plurality of positioning slots located in the storage space.

[0027] The plurality of embroidery thread color matching plates are arranged one-to-one in one of the plurality of positioning slots, and each embroidery thread color matching plate includes a plate body and an embroidery thread group; wherein, the plate body has a front and a back, the front has a number display area and an object positioning area, the number display area has a plurality of adjacent display frames, the plurality of display frames have a first number, a second number and a third number arranged in sequence, the first number, the second number and the third number respectively represent the composition ratio of color attributes.

[0028] The embroidery thread group consists of multiple embroidery threads of different colors. The multiple embroidery threads are fixed to the object positioning area of the plate and are arranged adjacent to each other on one side of the information display area, so that each of the multiple embroidery threads can be aligned with one of the multiple display frames. Each embroidery thread is paired with a set of color codes composed of the first number, the second number and the third number.

[0029] In this invention, the first number, the second number, and the third number of the color matching set are respectively selected from a range of numbers to correspond to a ratio value of the embroidery thread color, so that the color code of each embroidery thread pair will not be repeated and will not be continuous.

[0030] Furthermore, the color matching set further includes a partition placed inside the storage box. The plurality of positioning slots are arranged in parallel on a left side area and a right side area of the storage space, so that a receiving slot for inserting the partition is formed in the center of the storage space, allowing a portion of the plurality of embroidery thread color matching boards to be arranged in parallel on the left side area, and a remaining portion of the plurality of embroidery thread color matching boards to be arranged in parallel on the right side area; the front of the partition is provided with at least one measuring scale for use as a measuring ruler, and the back of the partition is further provided with a CT value chart.

[0031] In one feasible embodiment, the plurality of embroidery threads in each embroidery thread group have the same color scheme and different color gradations; and an inner side of the cover is provided with usage information containing pictures and text.

[0032] The feature of this invention is that the embroidery thread code composed of the first number, the second number and the third number in the display frame can directly represent the composition ratio of the color attributes of the paired embroidery thread. In this way, multiple groups of embroidery thread colors of the same color system but different color levels are organized and numbered on the same embroidery thread color matching board, and the embroidery threads are arranged in order from light to dark and from bright to dark, which makes it convenient for users to find, replace, communicate and trade embroidery threads.

[0033] Furthermore, in addition to using a scientific method to encode embroidery threads, the embroidery thread matching board of the present invention also allows users to add serial numbers of embroidery threads of the same color from other manufacturers, greatly improving the convenience of using the embroidery thread matching board; and it changes the traditional method of integrating all embroidery threads into a booklet, with an innovative storage and display method that combines the box and the color board, increasing the aesthetics and practicality of the product itself.

The first number 352 represents the chroma (H) and the chroma is selected between 000 and 360. The second number 353 and the third number 354 represent the saturation (S) and the brightness (B) respectively and the saturation and the brightness are selected between 000 and 100. It can be seen that the color code is a nine-digit number, and the range of the first number 352 will be different from the range of the second number 353 and the third number 354. As shown in the figure, the color code is displayed as [320051024], which means that the chroma (H) is 320, the saturation (S) is 51 and the brightness (B) is 024.

[0054] In another feasible embodiment, the first number 352, the second number 353, and the third number 354 are represented by RGB (not shown). The first number 352, the second number 353, and the third number 354 all use the same number range, selected from 000 to 255, so that the color code is a nine-digit number. For example, if the color code is displayed as [235010134], then the color composition of the embroidery thread 312 represents a red light source (R) amount of 235, a green light source (G) amount of 10, and a blue light source (B) amount of 134.
