Abstract

This invention provides a sealing member that can sustainably achieve the maximum contact surface pressure and contact surface pressure gradient required for removing foreign matter or liquid. The sealing member of this invention comprises: a body portion (51); and a lip portion (52) extending obliquely from the body portion (51) toward an opposing surface (12), slidingly contacting the opposing surface (12) with an interference fit, and having elasticity; the surface (53) of the lip portion (52) opposite to the opposing surface (12) has a textured structure of a plurality of ribs (55) continuously arranged along a direction orthogonal to the sealing profile direction, dividing the gap sealed by the sealing member (50) into an inner and outer section. The tops of the plurality of ribs (55) are located within the interference fit D in the free state of the sealing member (50).
