Abstract

This invention provides a testing device for testing the interaction between rails and wheels generated when a railway vehicle travels on an actual track. One embodiment of this invention provides a test trolley comprising: a first wheel axle (52R) that can roll on a rail (2); a slip rate control device (7) that supplies power to the first wheel axle in such a way that the first wheel axle rolls on the rail at a specified slip rate; and a rotational supply mechanism (52F, 55, 6) that supplies rotational motion corresponding to the travel speed of the test trolley (5) to the slip rate control device; the slip rate control device can supply the rotational motion supplied from the rotational supply mechanism plus a phase difference to the first wheel axle.
