Abstract

The present invention includes an observation means capable of identifying a ball through the opening of the outer joint member of the constant velocity universal joint. The observation means is capable of identifying at least one of the following: a ball between the outer joint member and the cage; a ball between the inner joint member and the cage; a ball on the inner diameter side and the outer diameter side of the cage; and a ball located at the bottom of the outer joint member.
