Abstract

A moving object detection method used in a wireless communication apparatus is provided that includes steps outlined below. A wireless signal transmitted in a predetermined space is received. The wireless signal is processed to generate channel impulse response information on a time domain. A statistic analysis along with time is performed according to the impulse response information to generate at least one statistic parameter. A moving object is determined to be present in the predetermined space according to the statistic parameter within a predetermined value range.
