The communication method may also be applied to spark link / nearlink standard protocol, and the protocols are not limited thereto. The communication method includes: determining an update, the update including changing one or more parameters to one or more updated parameters, and the one or more updated parameters are used for ranging in a plurality of ranging rounds; and transmitting to one or more responders, in a first ranging round, a first frame indicating the update.
