Abstract

Provides an anti-glare and anti-reflective film with good anti-glare properties and excellent anti-reflective performance, as well as a method for manufacturing such an anti-glare and anti-reflective film. An anti-glare and anti-reflective film 10 is provided, comprising: a substrate film 12, a hard coating layer 14 formed on the surface of the substrate film 12, an optical adjustment layer 16 formed on the surface of the hard coating layer 14, an anti-glare layer 18 formed on the surface of the optical adjustment layer 16, and a low refractive index layer 24 formed on the surface of the anti-glare layer 18, wherein the refractive index (nAG) of the anti-glare layer 18 is 1.60 or more and 1.81 or less at a wavelength of 550 nm, and at a wavelength of 550 nm, the refractive index (nAG) of the anti-glare layer 18, the refractive index (nHC) of the hard coating layer 14 and the refractive index (nOA) of the optical adjustment layer 16 satisfy the following relationship (1) and (2), and the film thickness of the optical adjustment layer 16 is 60 nm or more and 150 nm or less: nAG-nHC≧0.08 (1); nHC<nOA<nAG (2).
