Abstract

An electronic device is provided, which comprises: a first substrate comprising a cavity having a first bottom surface; a photonic die disposed in the cavity and having a second bottom surface facing the first bottom surface; a connection element disposed between the first bottom surface and the second bottom surface; and a first waveguide disposed corresponding to the photonic die and configured to receive an optical signal from the photonic die; wherein a roughness of the first bottom surface of the first substrate is different from a roughness of the second bottom surface of the photonic die.
