Abstract

A display device of the present invention includes a transflective display panel, a backlight module, and a light-adjusting panel disposed between the transflective display panel and the backlight module. The transflective display panel includes a first polarizer, a second polarizer, a first liquid crystal layer disposed between the first polarizer and the second polarizer, a first quarter wave plate disposed between the first liquid crystal layer and the first polarizer, a second quarter wave plate disposed between the first liquid crystal layer and the second polarizer, a first substrate disposed between the first quarter wave plate and the first liquid crystal layer, and a second substrate disposed between the second quarter wave plate and the first liquid crystal layer. The light-adjusting panel includes a third polarizer, a second liquid crystal layer disposed between the third polarizer and the first polarizer, a third substrate disposed between the third polarizer and the second liquid crystal layer, and a fourth substrate disposed between the first polarizer and the second liquid crystal layer.
