Abstract

The objective of this invention is to efficiently perform the transport of goods. The transport system of this invention includes: a plurality of transport vehicles that move along tracks and transport goods; and a controller that manages transport instructions for designated transport start points and destinations of goods, and distributes transport instructions to each transport vehicle. When distributing a first transport instruction that sets a predetermined loading point as the transport destination, the controller checks whether a second transport instruction that sets a predetermined loading point as the transport start point exists. If a second transport instruction exists, it distributes the second transport instruction with higher priority than the first transport instruction.
