Abstract

A reference voltage generator, an operating method for the reference voltage generator and a power-on reset system are disclosed. The reference voltage generator includes a start-up circuit configured to receive an input power supply. The start-up circuit comprises a first set of N-channel Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (NMOS) transistors connected in series. The reference voltage generator further includes a first reference voltage circuit connected to the start-up circuit and configured to generate a Proportional to Absolute Temperature (PTAT) voltage based on the input power supply. The first reference voltage circuit comprises a second set of NMOS transistors coupled with a current mirror circuit. The reference voltage generator also includes a second reference voltage circuit connected to the first reference voltage circuit and configured to generate a Complementary to Absolute Temperature (CTAT) voltage based on the input power supply, the second reference voltage circuit comprises a third set of NMOS transistors. A reference voltage is generated based on the generated PTAT voltage and the CTAT voltage.
