Abstract

A touchpad device includes a base, a frame, a first swing member, a second swing member, and a touch circuit board assembly. The base has a first side portion and a second side opposite to the first side. The frame is disposed above the base. The first swing member is swingably connected to the first side and the frame. The second swing member is swingably connected to the second side and the frame. The frame moves up and down relative to the base by the first swing member and the second swing member swinging relative to the base. The touch circuit board assembly is fixed on the frame and has a touch surface facing upward. Therein, the base, the frame, the first swing member, and the second swing member are different components.

Claims

1. A touchpad device, comprising: a base having a first side portion and a second side portion opposite to the first side portion; a bracket disposed above the base, with the base located inside the bracket in a vertical direction; a first oscillating member oscillatingly connected to the first side portion and the bracket; a second oscillating member oscillatingly connected to the second side portion and the bracket, the bracket being oscillating relative to the base via the first and second oscillating members to move vertically relative to the base; and a touch circuit board assembly fixed to the bracket and having a touch surface facing upward; wherein... The base, the bracket, the first swing member, and the second swing member are different components.

2. The touchpad device as claimed in claim 1 further includes a push-button switch, wherein the push-button switch is disposed between the base and the touch circuit board assembly, and the bracket moves downward to move the touch circuit board assembly toward the base to trigger the push-button switch.

The touchpad device as claimed in claim 1, wherein one of the first side portion and the first oscillating member includes a groove, and the other of the first side portion and the first oscillating member includes a sharp edge, wherein the first oscillating member is oscillatingly engaged into the groove through the sharp edge to be oscillatingly connected to the first side portion.

The touchpad device as claimed in claim 1, wherein one of the bracket and the first oscillating member includes a groove, and the other of the bracket and the first oscillating member includes a sharp edge, wherein the first oscillating member is oscillatingly engaged into the groove through the sharp edge to be oscillatingly connected to the bracket.

5. The touchpad device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first side includes a resilient arm that pushes against the first oscillating member such that the first oscillating member remains against the bracket.

6. The touchpad device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the first swing member is swingably connected to the first side via the resilient arm.

7. The touchpad device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the first side includes a stop portion separate from the resilient arm, and the first swing member is swingably connected to the first side via the resilient arm and the stop portion.

8. The touchpad device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first oscillating member has two shaft portions on opposite sides, the first oscillating member being embedded in the first side portion and the bracket via the two shaft portions to be oscillatingly connected to the first side portion and the bracket.

9. The touchpad device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bracket has a stop portion and the base has a limiting portion located above the stop portion to prevent the bracket from moving upward.

The touchpad device as claimed in claim 1 further includes a third oscillating member and a fourth oscillating member, wherein the first side and the second side are arranged in a first direction, the base has a third side and a fourth side opposite to the third side in a second direction, the first direction is not parallel to the second direction, the third oscillating member is oscillatingly connected to the third side and the bracket, the fourth oscillating member is oscillatingly connected to the fourth side and the bracket, and the bracket oscillates relative to the base via the first oscillating member, the second oscillating member, the third oscillating member and the fourth oscillating member to move up and down relative to the base.

11. The touchpad device as claimed in claim 10, wherein the bracket has four stops that are alternately arranged with the first to fourth swing members, and the base has four limiting portions that are correspondingly located above the four stops to prevent the bracket from moving upward.

12. The touchpad device as claimed in claim 1 further includes an elastic member disposed between the base and the touch circuit board assembly, the elastic member driving the touch circuit board assembly to move upward.

13. The touchpad device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first oscillating member and the second oscillating member do not deform during the up-and-down movement of the bracket relative to the base.
