Memory controller, memory system and operation method thereof

Abstract

This application discloses a memory controller and an operation method thereof, a memory system and an electronic system, which belongs to the field of memory technology. The memory controller includes: a memory device configured to store a firmware algorithm; an algorithm execution hardware including arithmetic expression(s) obtained based on the firmware algorithm; and a processor connected to the memory device and the algorithm execution hardware, the processor being configured to call the algorithm execution hardware to execute the arithmetic expression(s) when executing the firmware algorithm to obtain an arithmetic result of the firmware algorithm. This type of memory controller can implement execution of the firmware algorithm through the combination of arithmetic expressions and algorithm execution hardware, without the need to prepare specialized circuits, so that the memory controller has high flexibility and versatility.
