Operating system restoration method and system using the same

Abstract

An operating system restoration method and a system using the same are disclosed. The method includes: establishing a connection between an external device and an electronic device; based on the connection, obtaining, by an agent program in the external device, first verification information from the electronic device; and uploading, by the agent program, the first verification information to a server; after the first verification information is verified by the server, downloading, by the agent program, an operating system restoration file from the server to the electronic device; based on the operating system restoration file, performing, by the agent program, an operating system restoration operation on the electronic device; and after the operating system restoration operation is completed, removing, by the agent program, the operating system restoration file from the electronic device.
