Abstract

According to the embodiments disclosed herein, a method for managing items in an electronic device may include the following steps: identifying a base unit corresponding to the category of the item; identifying purchase statistics information for the item based on the base unit; identifying a threshold value for the item based on the base unit based on the purchase statistics information; and setting the upper limit of the items that can be purchased within a predetermined period as the threshold value.
